Multiplatform backdoor for Windows, Mac and Linux

Antivirus company F-Secure reports on a new malicious program that is not limited to infection with only Windows-machines, and is able to recognize different operating systems: Windows, Mac OS and Linux, then use the appropriate exploit for any particular OS.
The test involved running the file JAR.
For each of the three operating systems, the corresponding program is loaded, they all behave the same: establish a connection to a remote host, thence to download additional files and launch them for execution. The only difference is the port number for communication: 8080, 8081 and 8082 for the OSX, Linux and Windows, respectively.
